What I Have In Common With Audrey Hepburn

"I was born with an enormous need for affection, and a terrible need to give it."
Audrey Hepburn

Alas, it seems that the enemy of affection is the schedule, the chore, the job, the duty. Le sigh.

Do feel free to set a spell. I'm here...

Comsat Angels - Will You Stay Tonight? (out of print, but you can find the vinyl on eBay)

music from Prom, from high school, from a john hughes movie!

gotta love the keyboards throughout the song... or whatever it is that makes that electronic horn sound off and on.

Audrey: i just wish a small percentage of hollywood now would have her dignity.

Oh gosh. That picture reminds me I need to get my fringe cut.

And yes, what a woman. I agree with Marcy. Definitely the same smile in profile.

Dearest Marcy, that was totally coincidental! But now that you mention it...

Dearest Juan, it is an evocative song, isn't it?

Dearest Liz, flop yer fringe with pride!!

Dearest Ohara, I agree most violently!

Dearest Ally, I agree most violently! And yes, it arrived safely & soundly and I promise I'm giving it much love and comfort.

Dearest Nats, now you're giving me ideas...

Oh, pooh! I have been looking for "Will You Stay Tonight?" everywhere. It's from the album Land, while not one of their best, it includes this tidbit of sound from my youth. They used to play it on a local NY station called WLIR and I believe it was even "Screamer of the Week" at one time. I must have been 15 at the time. I finally find it here, but I can't rip it, so oh well...
