I've gone to the extent of inviting the right people to stay for christmas in order to avoid the wrong people, although I know you can't get away with that every year.

i shan't speculate on who's coming to visit, but i have a slight suspicion who it might be . . . so i'll be sure to send you positive cosmic energy when the time comes. : )
